In an interview in the 10th grade in high school, Lebron already said his favorites teams are Chicago Bulls, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Yankees.
You really can't blame a man for sticking with his principles. He's consistent. Even his favorite NBA team is still that Jordan-led Chicago Bulls.
Had Lebron switched teams and rooted for the Indians, then he will be a sellout. Why root for a team just because you live there? Root for a team because you want to root for the team!

Seems like he is more loyal to the Yankees than to the city of Cleveland. Remember, he signed only a 3 year extension with the Cavs, so if the things go wrong, he can sign somewhere else without wasting time, and given his amazing talent and skills, he will have offers from almost all the teams.
Anyway, Go Yanks!

to the city and fans.
