If these men are nice to you and treat you how you want to be treated by a man then there is nothing wrong with it.
I completely go for those guys to, though I will happy go for the classy guy too. But I really like my guys a little "rough", or as you put it low life, poor men. But I like them even more when they look great in a suit and treat me like a lady.

I'm poor, very poor, but don't know quite how you associate low-life with being poor or being drivers or conductors. I don't consider that I'm a low-life, so maybe an explanation in your question as to what you mean by this term would be appropriate.

I don't think its sick, I think that possibly you have low self esteem and being with someone who is lower than you is an easy way to make you feel good about yourself. You may also feel that they are the best you can do.
Is it ok? well I guess the depends, for me its not acceptable, but I am not you and have not lived your life so I cannot say whether its right or wrong.

Just because someone is a blue-collar worker doesn't make them a lowlife. Since I've earned my degrees, I've dated a firefighter, an oil rig worker, and several other guys that don't wear suits to work and they're great guys who treated me with nothing but respect.
If they treat you like dirt, then they ARE lowlifes and you're dating them because you have low self-esteem
You always get what you think you deserve in life.

Well, read the books by Allan and Barbara Pease, like the one "Why women cry and man lie".
They said when a woman is in her fertile period, they get crazy and jump on the though looking guys, with big jaw - very viril man, otherwise, when not in this period, they like to hang about with the nice guy. The attraction of man and woman is just for procriation... just think about it, what kind of genes do you want to make your child of...

mehreen - I am curious to know what makes conductors and drivers low lives? Perhaps you are more attracted to the "blue collar" type of man, but trust me, low lives, they are not.
Take heed with the way you phrase your questions.

Many of us use self-talk to handle what is going on inside minds. When self-talk is not monitored cautiously it can lead to drastic effects not only on one’s personality but also affects its mentality and psychology. In literature we call it soliloquy. This also leads to low self-esteem and lack of confidence and can be traced retrospectively in the self-talk. A lot of things remain running in the reward system of the brain and it keeps reminding ourselves what we talk with ourselves. This is automatic system and there is no filtering of thoughts. Therefore we should be very aware what we are saying to ourselves.

I think the fact that everybody is reading way too deeply into this is stupid. You're fine, you're attracted to those guys, so get at it and stop worrying about what your friends, and people on the internet, think about your personal decisions.

i'm studying psychology so i have a little insight into this. women tend to like men that most are like the father figure in their lives. if you dad was a drunk, you'll be attracted to drunks. if he emotionally unavailable, you will be attracted to men who are emotionally unavailable. this is true in my case, though i didnt realize it until recently. my dad is a musician, and a drunk wife beater. i tend to be attracted to musicians, drunk guys and guys with bad tempers, although thankfully i've never been hit
