I like yellow. I like turqoise blue. I'm a Spring. I like colors that compliment my skin tone. Unless they are Summers, I want to roll my eyes when women say their favorite color is "baby blue".

no not at all.the Neutrons in the earths atmosphere have all the colours of the rainbow but the colour that is seen the most because it reacts to the light from the sun is blue.That is why the sky is blue and reflects onto the earths oceans making them appear blue too.Is that overrated?

No, blue is not overrated... are you speaking of as a favorite color? If so I know tons of people that love all types of color, and you can have multiple favorites!!

Everyone has different 'preferences' in colors. My 'favorite' color is purple, but I wear more black. My husband's favorite color is blue, but he wears more 'earth tones' in red and orange. I wanted to make our apartment more 'green' but my husband HATES green ... so I switched to an 'earth tone' red, and now we are BOTH happy, and we actually get along much better. The 'green' wasn't just affecting him because he 'didn't like it' ... it actually made him more 'hostile' than a room done in earth reds and oranges. What's funny is that he LOVES 'earth tone' orange, but HATES the color of the fruit orange, in EVERYTHING.
So ... if you 'don't like' blue but prefer 'orange' then you need to know that you'll need to find a 'partner' who also prefers 'orange' ... but you can't just ask the 'favorite' color ... try doing or getting a 'color test' so you can see what I mean. Colors do 'affect what we do' even when we aren't really 'aware' of them ... also the 'size and layout' of rooms, but that is for another 'question.' We are surrounded by blue our whole lives, so people learn early to love it.
Orange, on the other hand, is a color less frequently seen. Therefor, it appeals to people who prefer things unique, different, unexpected. I suspect you are one of those people.

nahh. no color is overrated. people just happen to like blue a lot, like for example that most girls like pink. just so happens i like blue too. hope i helped. remember people have the right to like w/e they feel like, not to be rude or anything.
