I bought my daughter a book called The care and keeping of me. It it from American Girl. You can buy it on line, at Target or at Bath and Body works. I am not sure if Wal-mart sells it or not. It has a lot of information for young girls.

having your daughter read about puberty most likely wont help her. although it may be uncomfortable for the both of you, a one on one is probably the best way for her to learn. if she is about the right age, she is probably curious anyway, and you are her best friend in this department. especially since she carries your genes, she will most likely go through exactly what you did as far as growing rate, age that it happens, etc. just tell her from personal experience.

Well, best thing to tell your daughter what you had done when you were grow-up and period. You can explain everything what you had done in the past.

When I was that age there was a book called What's Happening to my body book for girls. I don't know if you can still get it, but I remember it to be very helpful.
