Dios de los Muertos..

Day of the Dead
Hispanica have traditions that the people who have passed away come up from the dead to visit the ones they left behind

The spanish decortated the graves and make big displays for the person and surounded it with food.

Then, their culture spread, and halmark besically took over

now we give kids candy and people try to scare eachother

the poineers had pumpkins/squash, ect and they grew in the fall.
the insde of a pumpkin has edible seeds, so they could eat those,

since hallowenn is supposed to be scary, people would carve faces into the pumpkins to use it up
