I tried calling planned parenthood but I just keep getting automated information.

How much does it cost?
Can I still donate blood after getting the shot?

I realize these questions are for professionals, but if you have any info I'd be grateful.

At kaiser without insurance it was I think 75 dollars but that is for three months. Well worth it. I dont see why you cant donate blood but ask. At the PP by my house it was easier just to walk in but be prepared to wait a while.

Depo Provera is what you are referring to. It doesn't cost much. It does not prevent your ability to donate blood.

Go to your family doctor to get this shot or to your local health department (family planning clinic).

Please rethink the shot.

TOO many women suffer horrible health risks because of this poison.

http://www.rateitall.com/t-330-birth-control-methods.aspx and google "depo provera lawsuit" before getting this shot.
