To be with someone through thick and thin. When times are bad and that one person sticks with you, that's a friend. True friends are rare, but you know who they are. I used to be able to count them on one hand, but in the last 2 or 3 days after being on this site and receiving great caring answers i can no longer count them all on one hand, or two hands and both feet. After several years i'm beginning to understand the true meaning of friends i've never met, but would be honored to. I actually smile and laugh more since finding this home.

Had a bad day last week and I turned to Seniors. Where else can you go and get support and warmth, and wisdom and humor, in the blink of any eye, with nothing expected in return?!! Tho' we may be many miles apart, we share a bond in the knowledge that friendship is a gift....and we know to enjoy that gift whenever it is offered. Blessings to all. Gracie

I have met some wonderful people here and in dogs too! I have the honor and priviladge to call them my friends. We live miles and miles apart, some are in different countries, some across the pond, but we are all there for one another no matter what!

We crack jokes and cry together too. It is a wonderful thing to have people who are just a e-mail away. I have never met any of my friends but one day I hope to very much!

I had company here, my daughter came over. So I guess I messed out on fun. But I have met some very nice people on here just the same and I know that I will never met any of you. Some have went above and beyond to help me out. Thank you my new friends!

I was thinking the same thing a bit earlier, about our group here. There's always someone who provides a laugh, shares a memory, or says something that makes me know I'm not alone, in whatever I think and feel. I'm getting to 'travel' to lands beyond my fondest hopes. I'm also amazed at how much I'm using my brain now, it was getting a bit staggnet. lol

Thanks to the soft heart of a dear dragon, for reminding us of all our new friends.

Oh yes....I certainly agree with you on this, you can pick up on people with who you have an iffinity with, you just know without ever meeting who you are talking to, the Universe has no boundries for the capabilities of conecting to like minded people, I have just this very day experienced this very thing , in this section, and connected to some lovely people

Gee today is a globe-spanning, feel good day isn't it? I feel so blessed to count you as my friend. And those others that participated in our silliness today with a light and merry heart, I salute you!

This dragon would hope that friendships begun on here during this latest craziness will flourish and grow strong over the years.

Some of the most beautiful people ever placed on this earth reside in this website.

We also have our trolls, but we band together and they disappear.

One of the neatest aspects of this site is the multi-cultural input. I love it. Reminds me of the days I lived in Europe.

This is a joy in my life. I've made and continue to make wonderful, worldwide friends on this site. It does the heart good. I love you all.

Dragon...you're the only dragon I like (well, except "Puff"). Just today, I started to buy a shirt... then saw it had a dragon on it. I said..."No..I don't like dragons!"....but I had forgotten about YOU!! Sorry. I won't say that again. (but they make them look so scary these days...nothing like "Puff"). I think you're a Gentle dragon..like Puff. I'm not afraid of you .(Just don't SCARE me!!!!)lol Hope you're my friend too. (my family doesn't understand why I talk with ya'll so much) (ya'll answer me....and they don't) Sometimes I say to them (when they don't answer me),"I must be dead....no one can hear me !!"lol..PS There's no way I'll ever get to go "overseas"...and just think..I get to do it every day on here!!!
