weather its Ford, Reagan, Carter, Bush senior, or Clinton former presidents, no matter how hated they were in office, seem to automatically acquire this elder statesmen status. they all are sought after for their words of wisdom and just seem to coast through the rest of their lives writting books, building houses, speaking for millions, whatever floats their boat. what will G.W. Bush's life be like when he leaves office?

What world do you live in?

Ford pursued his own recreational agenda (skiing, golf). Reagan went to his ranch and watched his mind addle. Carter (a bad president; a great ex-president) has continued to live by his principles and has been an amabassador for peace. Nixon suffered a period of shame, then was sought for his wisdom with respect to foreign affairs. Clinton also suffered for his scandals, but is starting to be recognized for his great thinking.

Bush will either declare martial law and suspend the constitution, not giving up power, or he'll be more like Ford, spending his time golfing and boating with his dad.

I hope he has time to relax.

The real question is who will the liberals be able to pick on after he is no longer in office? They use him as their whipping boy to blame everything on. What will they do after he is gone?

Will any liberal have any ideas at all when they can't blame someone else??? I don't think so.

I don't know, but I hope he returns to being the George he was before entering the White House, does something fun with his time instead, of being the average top stiff.

I think he will.

What will he do? A lot less damage to this country's fight against totalitarianism than Jimmy Carter is doing with his support of the world's dictators!

He'll leave the white house for starters...who knows how he will spend it. Speculating on future events is a waste of time when it comes to political figures.
