A lot worse off in all areas: culturally, economically and socially.
This is no matter what party is in control btw.

Many people usually think that America is on the brink of disaster. Not so. We've had serious difficulties for our entire existance. Things are never really as bad as the doom sayers try to make us believe. We are an industrious nation of problem solvers. We didn't get to be the greatest nation in the world by sitting around whimpering about exaggerated ills. We'll get through all of our present difficulites and new ones will crop up and grab our attention and we'll get through those too. We do it by being imaginative, innovative and persistant. Most major technological advances that have improved all of the civilized world's standard of living have come from us. That's one of the reasons for all the envy and jealousy directed toward us today. We ignore it and keep moving ahead. We will always have wars, but there are technological things in the works that will someday allow us to deal with our enemies effectively with minimum loss of US lives.

I see America in the same spot it is now on the map...at least I hope. No one will accept the big picture? LOL... the big picture differs from person to person on issues. I'm sure you knew that.
America will have the same problems plus/minus some and we'll still carry on as a society.

I can't even imagine. The next president will certainly have their hands full. We will need a true problem solver in the white house. It is also time to flush the congress.

AmeriKa is going down the toilet and 5 years is a long time. In 5 more years, AmeriKans had better get used to being second or even third class in world politics... and AmeriKa deserves everything it gets... it's been the schoolyard bully long enough.

Just below Canada, and above Mexico, where it always has been. Probably with a little less of our current beaches.
and not much more can be said if people keep ignoring our own problems, or blaming the ""socialists"" for them.
