can you explain, how to find it or open it? My computer does not recognise the disk in the drive

It depends on what extension you save it as and what programs they have on their computer.

If you save it as either *.jpg, *.bmp, or *.gif, where * is the file name it should be easily accessed

Are you using the correct format of disk (CD+-RW etc) for your drive?
