Not sure but a couple of facts for you that have been changed over the years..
Robin Hood was originally Robin the Hood,,"Hood" referring to a robber
The Lincoln Green he once wore was actually Lincoln Grain,,The Grain sacks of those times were often used as material for clothing by the poor,,it was a rusty/greenish colour that also happened to give them some degree of camouflage
Interestingly though the "Merry men" was actually also "A merrie of men " refering to "A group of men"....

Yes , Norbert Bulbhooter an insignificant little chap from the small town of Feegleboort in Luxembourg was renowned for giving cabbages to people less fortunate than himself but as he was the least fortunate person in european history he never actually did any real good.In actual fact he was blamed for single handedly causing the great european cabbage famine which resulted in the demise of the local green(s) political party.................Sad but untrue
