I didn't think I'd be able to get an answer in any other forum so here goes.

For those living outside of Greece, where do you search for info on Oxi Day celebrations in your area? I live near San Francisco, California and am having trouble finding where there will be a celebration this year.

OXI DAY Celebration

The Oxi-Day Cultural Program will begin around 1:00 PM following the Holy Liturgy and a luncheon hosted by HAS.
The program will include performances by Greek School children, short greetings by officials, and the presentation of the OXI-Day Award which is given annually to one or more worthy individuals. The event is free of charge and is offered to the local Greek school as a fundraiser. For more information contact UHAS vice president Angela Karantzas (650)625-1304 or email karantzas@yahoo.com

Give a call to the local Greek churches to see what they are doing. My experience is that most Greek holidays and events are celebrated with the support of the church. You have quite a few in the San Francisco area.
