If there was nothing to hide why hide the documents? Why derail our judicial system by not complying to a court ordered action and simply supplying the documents?

Alyson - In all truth I told another user, who after questioning why cons never ask serious questions on Hillary, that I'd ask a serious question.

During the week I've asked very similar questions and they never even get posted. Once I got an email saying it wasn't per Yahoo's guidelines... So I feel for you.

However this must be my lucky day!

Please be happy for me!!

She didn't want to go to prison.

Why did Ken Foster die? See above.

The rather undramatic truth is that those papers were in regard to yet another investigation, for a project call Grand view that she had been asked to look at many years before. She didn't have those papers. She did have some billing records for that project, it had changed names since she was there. The billing records were found, left out on a table, if she did something else with them, she would have had a better story cooked up. As it turned out, the records showed that she had been telling the truth, she had billed for a quarter hour on a real estate deal in the old name of the project. Nothing was made of it once the papers were found.
A fact conveniently forgotten by the hysterical right.

I read where you are trying to ask a serious question about Sen. Clinton. Why not ask something that's relevant today and not years ago?

The fact is that no one cares anymore about Whitewater except the conservatives that are still frustrated that they couldn't prove anything. Whitewater will have zero effect on those considering voting for Sen. Clinton. People are already tired of hearing the past drudged up about the Clintons - especially when it's related to the Republican witch hunts which cost millions of dollars and failed miserably. Not trying to be a smart aleck, it's just the truth. If this tactic is pursued in the general election they'll just be handing the election to her on a silver platter.

Her signature authorizing known fraudulent charges appears on those documents. Only Vince Foster had copies and he mysteriously died. Perhaps something will surface, oh, say....October 2008?

Let me get this straight. The Clinton's were cleared of all wrong doing yet you're complaining about them withholding documents in the related case? Are you equally outraged when the Bush white house stonewalls congress when they request documents?

If that is true, she's going to love being president and proclaiming executive privilege like the current occupant, who of course has "nothing to hide."

Oh, you know... all attorneys are a little sneaky. And you usually don't make it to the congress if you're not a lawyer.

If they're too stupid and get caught, they probably aren't good lawyers either.

It was a simple oversight. Don't you watch the dinosaur media? Republicans BAD...Democrats GOOD!

A more important question is "Why is Bush STILL HIDING 9/11 INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC?". Remember 9/11, when over 3,000 people died. I think one has their priorities askew. It is a digrace to American Democracy that questions like yours are asked instead of the question I propose. Riddle me this, Riddler!
