there's a lot of difference between fresh pressed apple juice and bottled or packed apple juice, one is alkaline base, the other acidic bc it has been heated to prolong shelf life unless it is frozen apple juice.

I have a similar problem. Mine only occurs when I am not working or on a fixed schedule where I have to be up at a certain time every day. It is especially worse when I sneak in an evening nap! Then I am pretty much up through the night. I am really against using sleeping pills. I have tried them and it basically swings me from one extreme to the other in that I sleep all night AND all day and don't get out of bed. What helps me somewhat is to listen to relaxing music. I have a housemate upstairs so I can't be blasting the radio, but can use headphones obviously and that is very helpful sometimes. I think a good approach is to start "reprogramming" yourself a few days or so before you know you have to get up (such as the first day of school). That way if you do happen to oversleep on one of the "practice" days, it isn't that big of a deal.

Try having apple FRUITS rather than the juice form. I don't know whether this will make any differences. But at least, fruits are more natural than juices.

Are you sure it's apple juice and not apple cider? Maybe you're allergic. I love pineapple juice but can't drink it cause I'm allergic to it.
