As it seems, a lot of them are man-made. But a few might have been made by aliens. Since there are no proofs for or gainst all of them, you should be open to anything.
But you should ask yourself: why would they be doing this? To contact us? To interact with us? I think they would do otherwise to really interact with us.

Its called a bushhog and a tractor. We used to make crop circles with a bushhog and tractor at my uncles neighbors farms. Every other one it was a riot anytime especially right before halloween. It was a mean thing to do but we were just kids and we were getting back at the neighbors kids for supergluing our backpacks together with us in them. They tried to charge people admission till they found out we were doing it and got in more trouble then we did because they did'nt have a business permit.
Hope this helps

I always wondered about crop circles and people who thought they were made by aliens to send us a message, maybe about our environment or impending doom or something. You know, warning us to change our ways.
I always figured, Hey, they're aliens; they ought to be smart enough to spell out, "HELLO YOU'RE MESSING UP THE PLANET. Sincerely, Martians".
