Up until about 15 years ago, I used to give my whole heart but since then, I hold a part back to prevent pain. Love can surely hurt ones soul. On the other hand, love can make the world go round. In my case however, I wont allow it to go completely around. Not anymore. Maybe again someday I will but my soul is still healing. Peace! âº

I dont care how much you hold back if you have feelings for someone its going to hurt if they break up with you. I f you really like the person go for it full force and give it your all. Be a great listener and put them at the top always but only if your getting it in return.... dont be someones sucker. Alot of users out there.

Always give your whole heart but take his wholly. That should be the fair deal. That way you will be comforted in pain...he hurts as much as you do. Cold comfort, though.

I make double-dog sure I don't fall in love anymore. I just enjoy the experiences. without pain or hurting, or causing pain or hurt, if possible, as I continue my life-long search for my soul-mate.

Last relationship I give, for the first time, my hole heart and it didn't results, so I think that we have to do the second choice to not hurt.
