On the first table, on the 0 I accidently put "0" as the y when it should really be "1."

y = mx + b
where m = slope and y = y-intercept.

to find slope find the change in y over the change in x.

the first one: y goes up 2, x goes up 1, slope = 2/1 = 2

y - intercept is when x = 0, first one when x = 0, y = 0

the equation: y = 2x + 0, this doesn't work out because your point is wrong it should be (0, 1) making the correct equation y = 2x + 1

second one:
slope: y goes down 1, x goes up 2, m = -1/2
y intercept = 0

y = -1/2x + 0
