The toliet in question is in my basement, hasen't been hooked up in years, and has a rusted metal flange on it, i've bought a new flange, but after some inspecting it was brought to my attention that the old rusted flange was *leaded* in whatever that means. For the most part the flange is still in place, but unfortantly the little *hooks* that hold the bolts are rusted, is there any type of cement, or glue that could be used to hold these down, the toliet only has to be used for one night, and please don't say *call a plumber* if i could i would have already.

Bigrick is right, but I would also use caulking under the outside rim. That will hold it down almost as well as the bolts would, then you would not have to drill the holes in the concrete. You may want to just keep using it.

For only a one time use, I would not bother to mount the toilet. Just set it on a gasket and use it. That wax donut will hold it in place very well. If you really want to permanently mount it, you can drill holes where the bolts will be, and use an epoxy to hold them in place. The bolts are only to keep the stool from trying to slide over or from rocking. There really isn't that much pressure on them and the way many people mount them in new houses nowadays, they aren't holding anything anyway.

for 1 nite, I agree w/ 1st answer. there are flanges that you can buy that you stick in pipe hole and have 3 set screw screws that you tighten up which secures to pipe, always use a wax seal to prevent sewer smell from coming back into house and prevent leakage
