depends on your size of tank i have
4 angels that are fully grown
i keep 4 clown loach
pink kissing gouramis
dwarf gouramis
rainbow fish
Cory cats
mollies
penguin tetras
1 plec
fire mouths
it really does depend on your size of tank and angels are slow moving so you don't want tail or fin nippers in with your angels.

There are a wide range of fish that will do very well with a large Angel fish and Plecostomous. As long as the fish is larger than a neon sized tetra the Angel fish won't eat it. Have you considered another Angel? Silver Dollars work well. A pair of Apistogramma with some hiding places on the bottom, some cory's, hatchetfish, just about anything that is from south america, not a fin nipper and doesn't get so large that it will hurt the angel fish. Don't get loaches, large cichlids or tiger barbs. I don't know the size of your aquarium though if it's large enough I prefer Angels with Angels and some cory's for the bottom of the aquarium.

What size tank? The Angel will get 6-8 inches, and a Common Plecostomus will reach about a foot and a half, so be prepared. For schooling fish, look into large Tetras (2+ inches). Smaller Tetras like Neons and Cardinals are certain to be a snack for an adult Angelfish. Also, you could consider 3-5 Kuhli Loaches. They are "eel-like" bottom dwellers that do best in groups. They will be shy at first, but with the proper decor (live plants, rock caves or other hiding spots), they will be quite active and playful. Email me if you have any questions.

because they are slow graceful fish with long fins that other fish nip at. I recommend you keep only Angel fish and scavengers in an Angel fish tank. Go with a few different varieties, and don't over crowd.
