Like Patty Griffin's The Rowing Song, I'm looking for non-march, symphonic songs that use the french horn as backup or in other ways...there may be old Beatles songs that have it.

Yes, "For-One" by The Beatles had a French horn section, played by a guy called Alan Civil.
