He has a hole in the upper chamber which is asd and two on the lower which is vsd. I was just wondering if any oter parents have a child with this problem and what was done to correct it if need be. Im hopin it will cloce up on its own . Ive also heard that the holes can get larger . Just wanted some input on this. Im scared for my son. Hes just 2 weeks old.

My friends mom had three children with defects just like this. One of them being my friend. Her's healed up completely on its own. Her younger sister was monitored more closely, and they expected surgery would have to be preformed, however, as the year closed so did the holes.

With her younger brother, there was a need for surgery when he was a toddler, and another follow up later in his youth.

They are all grown now, and are not effected in any way.

My son has ASD and we just have to wait until he is four to get it closed up. I hear it is a very simple process and everything should be alright.
