What is a reasonable SAT score for Rutgers University and GPA???
What are their majors??
i have a 3.1 GPA right now, a sophomore in hs.

You can get that kind of information for any school at Princeton Review. The link is below.

It looks like the average SAT score at Rutgets is around 1850/2400. GPA isn't reported -- but half of the admitted students are in the top 10% of their HS class -- and almost everyone else is in the top half.

You will probably need to bring your grades up a little.

According to the site I found:

"Rutgers offers its students literally hundreds of majors to choose from, however, some of the most popular with students include majors in the areas of business, engineering, biological sciences, psychology, and pharmacy.
...The admitted students had an average combined SAT ranging from 1110 to 1310, and over 79% of those admitted were ranked in the top 25% of their high school graduating class with an average high school GPA of 3.94. "

Assuming that's a 1470 out of 2400, it looks really unlikely unless you're in-state AND a highly disadvantaged minority AND have great extracurriculars.
