How much should I recieve back? I'm not very good at math.?

My husband and I went to a doctor appointment. He didn't bill our insurance so we paid out of pocket. 70.00 each (140) our insurance pays 80% of that. I sent our claims to the insurace company...how much should we be getting back?

80% of 140 is

80/100 * 140 = 0.8 * 140

or 112 dollars.

140 multiplied by .8 which is 112!!
