I equate a psychologist the same as a GP doctor.
I think both jobs could be done on computer, a doc asks you about your symptoms and has a set of rules he has been taught to follow, he follows them.
A psychologist does the same, he (or she) knows from the rule book that if you continually urinate up against a church wall, this is a classic case and the cause is that your great Grans sisters Aunt was an atheist.
Simple isnt it?
Now who thought that up and why believe it??
Here is a true example ;- Around the time of Queen Victoria, in the UK it was allowed that certain research could be carried out on the inmates of mental homes! One of these very clever brain folk discovered that 90% of the inmates masturbated, there was onlyone conclusion to these facts, masturbation sends you mad!!
A similar experiment was carried out in a home for the blind, same thing,it makes you blind!!
It was donkeys years later that these clever brain folk found out that 90% of the outside world also masturbated!!!
We are all 'unfiguroutable' we are all different , some generalisation may work, others may actually do more damage than good.
So if you are really 'scared' of these folk just remember my little story ref masturbation!
If you ever watch any crime series on the TV you may have noticed that that the defence team in court will bring along a 'brain quack' to 'prove'their client is a nut and not fit to stand trail!
The prosecution will bring another along another to 'prove' that the guy was perfectly sane when he chopped off the heads of 12 victims, and is fit to be tried.
All cobblers, forget it, if any one need their brain sorted it's that lot.

You probably aren't the only one.
But you're being silly.
For one thing you seem to believe both that they ARE sussing you out, and that they CAN'T suss you out.
People who study psychology understand more about people's internal worlds than people who haven't.
On thing they know is that people are complicated, and that you can't know a lot about people right away.
Mostly, they aren't sitting there trying to figure you out. But if you act like a jittery twit, they might.
I suggest you learn about psychology and about what psychologists do. Understanding psychology is a very useful thing; it's also really interesting.

I moved back to an area I went to high school at. The other boffin in my class has become a Uni lecturer - in psychology. I speak briefly and get away in case he's analysing me and sussing me out. I don't want him to get inside my head.
Especially as I chose to become a humble self employed caterer and mum instead of the high flying job I had the brain power for!!

A person regarding herself too superior told me a parabole. Before that she bluntly told me I was evil smart dangerous and played tricks with people. Her story conveyed the message that I was telling her to guard herself against me for I was a skorpion-like man.
She got mad one day with a true woman who told her up face she was a man. This woman received several punches on the face and skull.
That's a reason why I think God is right when He says on the Bible that there shall not be among you people doing guesses.

no one is unfiguroutable(???) and the only difference between you and others is that you probably have more mental walls to kick down but after saying that one bit of a feeling of security and you would be a open book lamping fraudian slips out like nobodys bussiness or you would try to play games with them and not realise that those games give you away. the only way to beat them is to know what signs they look for and controle yourself but even then their are still signs.
