What non-bias reliable evidence do you have to support your claim? Baring in mind that anything which is religious based does not count, as it is going to be biased without any actual study.
The American Psychologigal Association have actually bothered to do several full studies concerning this, rather than just assuming that they were right without looking it to the situation properly, and they've determined that it is NOT a choice http://www.apa.org/topics/orientation.html . More qualified organisations , such as Boston University, South Bank University, ARS Technica etc have also come to the same conclusion. These and more all know what they're doing since they're the professionals. You are not. So, what makes you think that the world's main-stream qualified psychological and biological organisations are wrong, and you (with no study or evidence) are right?
Because in reality, you sound as dumb as someone who still refuses to except that the world is round, and not flat.

Trigeminal T, the fact that you failed to answer the question just further proves how wrong you are. And, you're talking to an athiest, so your delluded rant about me going to some place that as far as I'm concerned doesn't exist has no affect on me.

Christians and other homophobic religious extremists will never believe that it is not a choice no matter HOW much credible scientific evidence is presented before them...if it wasn't a choice, then there would be no justification for their intolerant actions.
You can lead a bigot to truth, but you cannot make him think.

It feels so super in case you are able to pour all your frustration and xenophobia out unto those that authority says deserve it. Jews, Commies, Homos...

While I do think that there is a good possibility that SOME homosexuals genuinely have a genetic predisposition, I also believe that a vast majority do NOT. If you ask around, most gays just "happen" to have one common denominator: a past filled with repeated childhood molestation. THERE'S your evidence! It is always refreshing for me to meet a gay person who is honest enough with not only with me, but himself/herself as well, to actually come out and ADMIT that this "may" have played some role in the final analysis. And rare as it is, I have also spoken with a few who were candid enough to admit that they were living the gay 'lifestyle', simply because they LIKE it! I commend them for their honesty, because quite frankly, I feel that for MOST of them, "born that way" is simply a cop-out; a justification to gain approval from others.

"Because my pastor told me..." or "Because you obviously do choose what to do and when to do it and I don't know there's a difference between desire and action..." or "Because I just discovered this site and am ignoring the 10,000 times this question has been asked and answered before and have convinced myself that I am the very first person on earth to make this assertion...."

you're a smart guy Christian... but those who hate us don't really HAVE a reason... and don't WANT to find any truth that would make them have to hang up their hate... it's the same with most hatred... its sad... but you can't reason with a brick wall...

It´s your body. Do with it as you will but accept the consequences, not all of which are immediately apparent, of your actions.
