You aren't the only one. I'm fed up of all their misinformed & Xenophobic comments too. The way they talk we pay no taxes etc at all in Scotland. They'll soon be the ones who are upset when Scotland & England seperate. They will not be so Xenophobic then. They'll be begging for us to come back!
BTW - I am referring only to the Xenophobes that have answered this question, not the overwhelming majority of English people who are decent, sensible, above all polite & don't resort to despicable slurs without quoting their source.

Who for England ? I'm sick of Scots whinging about the English when in fact this governemt depends on Scots MP s to stay in power. All my life i've heard Scots whinging about every slight real and imagined that the English have put in their way

The two countries are intertwined, don't forget James VI of Scotland became James I of England, suppose we couldn't find anybody else at the time. I don't think Scotland would last very long without English taxes.

Because it is true.
U.K. population = 60 million; England's population = 50 million. The Scottish have more money invested per person, compared to the rest of the U.K.
If I remember correctly, the Scottish parliament building went over-budget and millions of pounds of English money paid for it.

The sooner the better, we as English, will save a fortune in taxes.
Scotland gets free care for the elderly, we have to pay for it.
Drugs that N.I.C.E. won't allow in England are freely available in Scotland.
University education is free in Scotland, but not to English students.
I agree with you, "Independence please come soon", we are finding it difficult to keep Scotland in the financial situation that they are not accustomed to.
Please also take Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and all the other
Scots, who are currently in the ENGLISH Parliament and absorb them into your Parliament.
