whom shall i involve in this project?

I'm not hindu but I think you're speaking about the class system - the untouchables. Are you looking for organisations to help you carry this out or individuals? If it's individuals count me in - I can't agree with any person being treated as inferior simply because of some class system that they were born into...it's as bad as slavery....
As for organisations - it should be one of the U.N s top priorities to wipe out the discrimination that these poor people have to live with for an entire lifetime.

Did you know japan also has some remnants of a caste system? The untouchables there are called "bunrakumin" and also still face discrimination, simply because of a position they were born into - this is the year 2007!!
We should know better

well done you for wanting to help these people and highlighting this problem!!

Kemperk, I know you mean well but you can't move 100 million people. No other land will take these people. A popular solution to the Dalit or Dolit problem is converting them to a different religion. Since Caste discriminates against them eliminate Caste. Convert them to Buddhism, Jainism or Sikhism. All religions native to India. Its a worthwhile solution

Why move them now when things are beginning to get alot better for them, and their government is taking measures to help them. Don't you think that it would have been better to move them during earlier decades and not now when India is doing well and is making efforts to improve their situation?
