I'm a game - aholic, or at least I was until a couple nights ago.

For years I had been playing the gameboy versions of Pokemon. At first it was just for doctors visits, then to help me sleep, and esculated beyond my controll. Last week, I had a dream that I walked into a bar and the girl forcefully placed what I thought was a peace of candy in my mouth. It turned out to be a Pokemon shape of LSD. Now, I have never taken the drug in my life but from the descriptions of what others had said, I now know the experience and it was not good. So plain and simple: the game is a drug, get rid of it, right? I made the HUGE mistake of discreditting it as just a dream and kept playing only not as much. This last Thursday night I beleive God dealt with me in the harshest form. Thanks be to God! I had a night terror. One of the dream, within a dream, within a dream episodes. Dreaming and knowing full well that I was dream

How is this "proof?" You had a dream. Dreams are NEVER considered proof of anything.

this is not proof of god.
this is proof that playing video type games etc excessively will have an adverse effect on a young and vulnerable brain.

"everything in moderation"

its a good sentence to remember!

no need to drag atheists or anyone else into what happened, just realise that your dreams have been affected by what you are viewing, and the guilt that seems to be part of some christians belief can also play its part in nightmares etc.

read a nice wholesome book instead, like enid blyton lol

good luck

blessed be

Dreaming is powerful. It can shed light on things we've been ignoring while awake. I hope you will allow God to help you with you addiction.
I had a similar experience. This guy that I was having sex with was a scary looking thing in my dream and ever since I realized that I was allowing his demons to become mine as well, with the bond of sex. Funny, it's his birthday today. We are just friends now but I'll always love him. Anyway I just have to learn how to properly love him and so does he. I was addicted to him.

Yeah, Pink Floyd is great. I'm listening to it now. Nothing goes with a hit of pokemon like Pink Floyd.

Its illogical to try to 'prove' the existence of God, when the concept of 'God' doesn't folow scientific principles. It just ends up making you look foolish.

I'm glad that you had a positive experience but it still doesn't count as any kind of 'proof'.

My guess is that you're seeing Pokemon because of the LSD.

i not sure about god, but i think it was your own body telling you that your damage yourself. It not may not have been gods will, it was your own will that helped you get out of your problems.
