I Agree and I am of the opinion that Paparazzi should be banned all-together after all haven't they caused enough heartache and misery ..Don't get me wrong I am all for the freedom of the press but these paparazzi photographers are all freelance and sell their photos to the highest bidder and go all out despite causing danger to others to get their "Scoop"
WE are not just talking about a few Photographers harassing The Royals and Pop stars etc. We are in fact talking about a gathering of sometimes 20-50 of them and if that was you or I we could be arrested for causing a disturbance or maybe something worse

After the death of Princess Diana, Buckingham Palace/Prince Charles asked that the newspapers/paparazzi leave Prince William and Prince Harry alone and not hound them as they did Princess Diana. To their credit the newspapers/paparazzi did leave them alone to grieve and to grow up. The Princes always gave up some time to do an official photograph for them all and answer some of their questions, and it seemed to keep the paparazzi happy.

Prince William knows he is going to be photographed and accepts it. What he should not have to accept is being chased from pillar to post. We are all entitles to some privacy/respect even in a public place. My own view is that if these photographers get their camera broken and a bloody nose they should accept it as part of the job
and not go running to court with assault charges and damage claims. whether they like it or not the paparazzi were in part responsible for his mothers death. Perhaps they just want another scalp

I think that a chance photo is great - being hounded to get a shot when you're out on a private night out, is really unfair.
What made me laugh - or cringe - take your pick, is how the TV news made a fuss about how the newspapers weren't going to print the photo's they'd taken, and then showed them being photographed as they got in the car on TV.
Kind of defeated the whole object. Leave them alone! We'll just enjoy the official pics.

I don't think that a government would legislate and enforcement would be difficult.
Two possible actions spring to mind.1) Stop buying the rubbish that keeps on publishing so called exclusives or private moments. Not much chance as the public who buy are basically pathetic. 2) Any celeb or royal should stand still and pose for a long time until the parasites realise that there are so many pics that they are valueless.

News and media seem to think Royalty and celebrities are public property. They are not and have been asking for this to be done for years. To no avail.
