A diet with lots of carrots would be very bad for a rabbit!

A pet rabbit should be fed mostly good quality pellets, fresh hay (alfalfa, timothy or oat), water and fresh vegetables. Hay is important. Apple tree twigs are good. For vegetables, give him dark leafy veggies and root vegetables, and try to get different colors.

Avoid beans and rhubarb. No apple seeds (toxic!). Treats in very limited quantities -- especially high sugar items (cake, cookies), or high salt things (chips, salted nuts).

Rabbits can also eat lettuce or celery. There's rabbit food at any local pet store and also specially dried fruits they can eat.
