i heard im like a month n 2 weeks but i wanna kno for sure... and on october 3 i went to the doctors and the told me im 6 weeks n 6 days pregant.. what am i?

Don't pay attention to ppl who say stuff about you not knowing. Sometimes it is difficult knowing, considering many ppl go by different methods. The best thing to, if you don't know in months, just stick with your weeks. Weeks in a month vary..some months have 4 some have 5, which is why I say it varies by different methods. Some ppl say 9 months, others say 10...so just go by weeks, and know that after you hit 37 weeks, be ready!!! lol...

If your 6 weeks and 6 days your are 1 month 2 weeks and 6 days. Almost 1 month and 3 weeks.

I would find a website you can refer back to! Some people think you just count every 4 weeks and thats how many months you are... but that's not true otherwise we would be pregnant for 36 weeks.
1-4 weeks
2-8weeks
3-12wks
4-16weeks
5-20weeks
6-24weeks
7-28weeks
8-32weeks
9-36weeks
So we are actually pregnant for 10 months! It just depends on the way you count it, Even if you check out different websites you will see they count it differently... here's how I could it!
My due date is January 9. So just do this with your own due date.
1-(conception month) April 9
2-May 9
3-June 9
4- July 9
5- Aug 9
6- Sept 9
7- Oct 9
8- Nov 9
9- Dec 9
then my 10th month would START on my Due date which is January 9.

Doctors give an educated guess on how pregnant you are based on the last period you had. If you know the exact day that you actually got pregnant then you should count 38 weeks from that day and that is the actual day your baby is due. If you only know the first day of your last period then you should count 40 weeks from that day. Since doctors dont know when you actually got pregnant, only when you had your period they can be off by 2 weeks or so. It isn't really that important to know how many months you are pregnant, but instead think of it in weeks. That is a more accurate way of doing it.

if you went to the doctors 3 days ago. you WERE 6 weeks and 6 days pregnent
and since there are 4 weeks in a month
you are 1 month and 3 weeks pregnent

On the 11th you will be 2 months then... according to what your doctor told you (you are actually 7 weeks and 2 days as of today).
