Ann Coulter is to journalism what Cheez Whiz is to artisinal cheeses. What Mad Dog 20/20 is to vintage wine. What a Hershey bar is to fine Belgian chocolate. She's cheap, easy, and available for a quick fix. Unfortunately, we live in a cheap, easy, quick-fix society. What is so annoying is the ridiculous amount of attention she receives for spouting obviously incendiary rhetoric in a very superior fashion. What is annoying is that she is invariably on every front page in the country every time she utters her latest carefully calculated atrocity.

Ann, like Rush mostly fabicates her facts and stories. She has been known to mis-quote or quote out of context.
Her interest is making money, not being honest. This is not a question of liberal versus conservative.
The networks should be embarrased, but their interest also lies in making money, not maintaining some journalistic integrity standard.
