Because its the PERFECT term to describe what the dems are to the terrorists....they are doing whatever they can to make sure we are defeated in Iraq just so they can pin it on President Bush...and even though they are working FOR the terrorists, the terrorist view them as our weak link and the best way to destroy this great country, and in reality if the terrorist were to win ones like the dems would be the first to be lined up against a wall and shot....hence, the term useful idiots....

I think there are useful idiots on both sides, frankly. There is something to be said for the 'Walmart Republicans' who rubber stamp anything the Republican party says (i.e. We are looking for WMD's, Canadian drugs aren't safe, this tax break is not for the rich, universal healthcare is not in your best interest, etc, etc). When I listen to Rush (yes, I listen sometimes), I'm amazed at how many people just fawn over him and hang on his every word. It's like everything he says is gold and they just automatically believe it without any thought put into it. Quite scary actually. I admit, if I didn't know any better, I would be seduced by his spiel but you notice his spiel is always the same? Democrats ARE EVIL. Republicans ARE GOOD. ALWAYS with very few exceptions. He thinks moderates are bad and extremism good. He is never even-handed about anything.
