Mr. Bungle has some pretty decent riffs, also Muse, occasionally. Classic rock generally doesn't have too many hard lines, but alternative can, and industrial, if the bass is real... It also depends on what you have to play on - a 5 string? a 7 string? Leave me a comment at my blog below and I'll see what I can come up with. My Ken Smith is just a 4 string, and I don't do a lot of complicated stuff other than harmonics, hammering, and finding tone in weird places.
