Steven E. Jones, from BYU (Brigham Young University). Jones’ is a member of the physics dept and his research is in “cold fusion,” an area that’s not related to civil engineering.

The correct department for analysis of the twin-tower collapse is engineering, not physics.

The engineering dept at Jones OWN University (BYU) has heavily criticized Jones.

D. Allan Firmage, Professor Emeritus, Civil Engineering, BYU, called Jones’ statements “very disturbing.” Also, "The structural engineering faculty in the Fulton College of Engineering and Technology [at BYU] do not support the hypotheses of Professor Jones."

Jones has published utterly nothing in the scientific literature on his theories. His "publications" are papers he put on some web pages. No engineering journal in the world will touch them. That says it all.

A recent Rasmussen Poll (May 04, 2007) shows that only 22 % of country think that Bush knew about the attacks in advance. This means that a smaller percentage think he was actively involved. I would guess maybe 5%

The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (also known as the 9-11 Commission), is an independent, bipartisan commission created by congressional legislation and the signature of President George W. Bush in late 2002.

The members were picked by congress, not Bush.

What proof is there that they were not indepenent?

TERRORISTS NOT CAVE-DWELLERS

In fact, the terrorists were funded by large amounts of money from Osama Bin Laden himself.

(Osama had plenty of money from his father, a wealthy businessman with close ties to the Saudi royal family. He was not merely a "cave dweller")

The terrorists lived quite well in the USA & took both flying lessons & lessons in fighting, preparing for the attack.

Of the 4 hijacker-pilots, 3 of them came to the US in 2000 & each had 40 hours of pilot training. The hardest things a pilot has to do, landing, taking off, & handling foul weather, they didn't have to do. You can read more about their training in the Pop Mech book or website.

Hello Strawman,

More and more Americans are believing that the official Commission report is incomplete and inaccurate. The poll last year showed that 43% of Americans believe that at least some government officials were involved in helping.

Professor Steven Jones has written a paper describing why demolition is the most likely cause for the collapse of three WTC buildings (although he is open to consider other explainations that would not violate the laws of physics). He and other debunkers of the official story have been maliciously attacked.

The official pancake theory is total bunk and violates laws of nature. The official explaination for the motivation for the attack just doesn't make sense. Americans need the whole truth about 9/11, not just some whitewash. The government's story is the most rediculous conspiracy theory out there.

That is the most logical explanation.

The official conspiracy theory about the 19 cave dwellers with box cutters falls apart on so many level under investigation.

Bush's lies about 9/11 to start his war in Iraq that he was planning at his first cabinet meeting show that he would stop at nothing to start his war.

Osama was an agent of Bush's father's CIA when he was pulling the strings behind the scenes when Reagan was the puppet President.

There has never been an independent investigation into the events of 9/11.

Bush fought against any investigation from the beginning, but allowed a limited investigation into only intelligence failures so the Republicans could push through the unconstitutional Patriot Act.

The Popular Mechanics piece written by a relative of DHS leader Chertoff led to more questions than it answered.

A firm run by Bush's brother Marvin was responsible for security of many of the 9/11 related sites and airlines.

There are just too many unanswered questions.

I've never believed anyone but the terrorists were responsible for the 9/11 attacks. It was such an unprecedented act that Americans were unprepared. Even if the government did receive some sort of warning it would have seemed unlikely that the attack would have been carried out. I don't blame anyone in America's government.
Don't think I don't disagree with some of what our government does, but I truly believe they are innocent in this case.
