Well i just got my 5th period yesterday afternoon. When i go to bed it is very heavy. Is there anything i can do to make myself more comfortable while sleeping, and help it not leak. I use pads, and my period only last 3days.

I do not have overnight ones. I only have the heavy flows.

Some people that I know use overnight but what I do is use two regular pads if you know what I mean. I sleep sideways because if I sleep while laying up of course it's gonna roll back but then I have that other pad. For me, while I'm on my period, it's hard for me to go to sleep because of the cramps.

YOU poor thing there is nothing much worse than a heavy period particularly when you are young....I remember lol. If you are in pain warmth can help, so can a warm bath. Also you can try the heaviest pad to try to stop so much leakage. If the heaviness continues it might be a good idea to ask your mom about going to have a chat with the doctor although 3 days is quite normal so I wouldn't worry, it's just one of the shitty things about being a woman....but there are good bits too :)

Lay a towel down when you go to bed. Get a warm water bottle to lay on your stomach for cramps, Curl your legs up like a fetal position, also helps with cramps. Use heavier pads at night time. Use the long ones. And remember that leaking happens to everyone. Don't feel ashamed.

Why not use a tampon and a pad? That way you can be assured you won't leak. They also have ones made for night time. They're longer and thicker, and I believe they have wings. Maybe you could try those.

Take some tylenol a few hours before you're ready for bed, so that way when you are tired you shouldn't have cramps anymore. Good luck!!

If you want to wear pads, wear a pair of tight shorts to hold the pad close to your body so you won't worry about staining something.

If you are bleeding that heavily, I'd say it's time for you to try tampons. Start with slenders, heavy time is great because it will lubricate. Follow the directions, use a mirror. Remember that you are navigating 2 sets of doors to get into the vagina. If you can still feel it, it's not in far enough.

You can use pad for overnight. You can not use the tampon for overnight. For during daytime, you can start wearing a tampons. You have to change it every 4 hours, if you need to?

first component - do not panic. you're gonna stay. 2nd, once you're youthful your cycle could be unpredictable and every person is diverse, so do not enable all of us else's adventure scare you. There are a pair issues i can think of of offhand that it would desire to be, if it is not in basic terms your physique getting in the swing of issues. One is that, in case your physique fat is in basic terms too low, that could end your cycle. the different is which you will have a hormonal imbalance, it fairly is notably common in youthful girls persons. My 2 sisters and that i all have low progesterone, that could do each and every form of wierd issues on your cycle. So bypass to an OBGYN and tell them what's occurring. they'd want you to get some bloodwork executed so they understand the thank you to handle you. yet heavily, in case you do not sense undesirable, there is probable not something nicely worth stressing your self out over.
