What will stop the evils commited in the name of Freedom and Democracy? War crimes are being commited. How can we let the world know that despicable person doesn't represent all Americans?

This isn't a threat. I've just heard some students talking about it in an abstract way. America has a lot of moral problems right now. Would it be moral? Just curious about other people's views on the subject.

I'm not threatening anyone and I'm not a wacko.

This is a philosophical question. Is it just to break laws that are principily designed to protect society, in the interest of social good.

Think about this as a modern version of Socrates Dilemma where he defended not escaping from jail because such action would not be for the public good (We would not want everybody to break the law when they feel disenfrachised).

Really, people, you are looking way too deep into this question and are seeing threats that aren't there.

I understand what you are trying to say, Robert. However, you should have re-phrased in a different manner... like, 'If President Bush was assassinated, would the American moral compass be restored in the eyes of the world?' Or something to that line of thought.

My response to that would be yes, after a spell of time has passed.

I hope that you know that Homeland Security watches sites just like this for certain words and phrases such as you have stated here. Good luck with the FBI guys and if you get a chance, let us know how that whole torture thing is panning out!!

Should someone assassinate Robert M? Doesnt feel good, does it? You work in the government? You been in the war? Or do you just listen to a lot of misguided American-Bush haters?

You do realize that comments about an U.S. president assassination, even as a joke, can get Homeland Security to send a bunch of guys in black suits and sunglasses to pay you a visit. Have fun in Guantanamo, slick.

I get angry sometimes too, but don't sink down to that kind of level!
Write to your representatives, write to newspapers, talk to people, support candidates that you like, and vote! If you're worried about what the world thinks, you can even write to world leaders. Channel that outrage the right way!

And give Cheney the incident he needs to declare Martial Law, suspend elections and arrest Congress? No thanx.

Wait until Bush is out of office and power has been transferred into saner and less greedy hands. After that, I don't care what you do to him.

Are you really from the supposed "loving left"? It's funny, we're called intolerant as Republicans, but I hear so many left-wingers saying things like this.

No. If he is a criminal, he needs to be tried and convicted before he is put in jail. He deserves better treatment than the people he holds in detainment camps throughout the world.

The answers to the American syndrome lies not with Washington D.C., but solutions start at the community level. Seek the truth.

Hope you aren't going around verbally making these remarks, because you might get a knock at your door.

The President does not single handedly make decisions about war.... ever. There is body of elected people we call Congress. Ever hear of them?

Many Americans do not like President Bush but I think very few would side with you. Are you trying to incite murder.? If you were a UK citizen you would certainly be arrested for your insane remarks.
