very much. My life is bittersweet at the moment--bitter because I am going through a chaotic time right now in EVERY area of my life due to the bad decisions that I've made, but sweet because God is helping me get through it all. It seems as though everything around me is crumbling down and I've lost soo much in just a matter of days, but I'm still fighting to get where I want and need to be.

DEFINITELY ... I chose wrongly (for a spouse), and paid a HEAVY price for that wrong choice (both monetarily as well as physically ... he abused me/my children and I escaped with only our lives leaving everything else behind).
In the past 2 decades ... I've had to start over ... and rebuilt my life ...
Then ... in August 2006, an Adult Child BETRAYED EVERYTHING I lived by and taught them (through my actions) ... they WILLINGLY HELPED my Ex (who did abuse them and was convicted of it) to BURGLARIZE my HOME.
So my TRUST in them is GONE ... and that is Sad Indeed. They made their choice .. and it was NOT honorable .. and I DID file charges and DEMAND prosecution.
NOW ... I met this summer a FINE and REAL MAN .. gentle, kind, caring, loving ... everything that I SHOULD have had in the FIRST PLACE! I could NOT believe one could be that GOOD to me ... and he is. I an enjoying each time we get together or talk ... it is REFRESHING.
so DO NOT SETTLE .. go for the best ... and ...
Most importantly ... WORK HARD for everything you want .. because I DID (and earned my UGrad/Grad Degrees, Served my Country (and Honorably Retired), raised my children as a Long Term Single Parent, left everything behind when they were toddlers so that we COULD LIVE .. .and now ...
I have my OWN HOME, My OWN PENSIONS .. and yes, I am HAPPY!

Hell yeah!
75% (this is my own theory) of people's problems can be traced to bad decisions made in the past. Conversely for good decisions.
My life is cool. I love my job because I went to school so that I wouldn't have to work hard for little money.
My finances aren't the greatest right now. That's mainly because I'm seeing my finacee through school, but also because I didn't manage my money well in the past, when I had the ability to save.

very much so. i think my life is going fine because I have friends that will keep me out of trouble. I'm a teenager, and apparently 'these are the important years for friends'. Have you ever noticed that no matter how old you are, 'these are the important years for good friends????' Anyway, I honestly believe that if I wasn't a Christian, or if I drank or smoked, I wouldn't have the same friends. That's why I don't drink and I don't smoke, and I am a Christian, because I want to keep my friends.
