Waxing Body Hair?

On one of the new TV shows the trailer showed one of the guys whose wife had told him that she wanted him to have himself waxed, well in the private areas. I'm curious from you women or men, what does this do in terms of enjoyment. Also for you ladies, I know a lot of you wax down there do you feel it's better for oral sex, looks or just what.

I keep myself shaved down there. It does feel cleaner but I don't think it's actually more hygienic as long as you wash every day or more often if engaging in exercise or in hot weather.

Sex is definitely more sensuous and oral is better for both the giver and the receiver if there's no hair in the way. My wife is much more reluctant than I to remove hair from her intimate regions but I love her just as much hairy or smooth.

I do go for waxing on other parts of my body (Chest, back etc) but the place I go to doesn't do Brazilians/Hollywoods for men, so I haven't had that experience yet. However, I did get a "bikini" line done and it really wasn't as painful as people say.

My recommendation if you're unsure is to shave at first to see if you and your partner like the look and feel. If you don't like it, the hair will grow back quicker than after waxing and the added bonus is that if you do like it, you can get the hair waxed off while short which is much less painful than waxing off a forest.

A few other things:

- DON'T EVEN THINK about waxing yourself down there (or anywhere for that matter) - have it done professionally. A male may have to contact a number of salons as many do not do intimate waxing for men. However, there's nothing to be embarrassed about asking such questions or once you're there because they've heard and seen it all before.

- get and take advice from the person doing your treatment on before and after skin care to avoid irritation and ingrown hairs.

- if you're worried about the pain, take a dose of Ibuprofen about 45 minutes before treatment.

I never have gotten waxed down there but I imagine, it would be for a few reasons, when I shave it's not usally smooth b/c the hair is so course, it probably looks better b/c sometimes I miss a spot or it's crooked and it probally helps with oral sex, b/c no one, man or woman like to get hair in there mouth!! I never had the guts to get a wax, I much rather shave!!

I have been waxed down there, plucked & shaved. The waxing is very, very, painful, I came away with what looked like big lovebites & blood everywhere & It wasn't even completely smooth or straight.
The plucking i did on a mad moment, it felt quite nice to begin with but was taking forever so i didn't get a lot done lol
So i stick with shaving, a hairy muff is horrible, i like to admire my bits in the mirror every so often & a big bush looks scruffy & dirty, shaven does look clean.The only downside is when your ruddy hairs come back, you itch lots & go red raw until the hairs come about a cm through & im going to stop talking now bye x

this is gonna sound gay, but she and i both shave ourselves (unless i can con her into swapping lol). It makes both of us more sensitive, but if you start, you have to keep on doing it (it iches like a son of a gun growing back lol). It IS better for oral, nothing in the way
