Certainly not! He was referring to one clown who claimed to be a hero but was actually nothing but a liar. Rush has no use for anyone like that and he says what he thinks. I say: good for him. He owes no apology.

He needs to apologize to the troops. And his show should be barred by the military until he does - as if that will happen.
Particularly as they serve and die after criticizing the war.
""Sgt. Omar Mora, 28, and Staff Sgt. Yance T. Gray, 26, two of the authors of "The War as We Saw It," were killed in Baghdad Monday when the five-ton cargo truck they were riding in overturned.
Another of the authors, Staff Sgt. Jeremy Murphy, was shot in the head while the group was working on the article.
The controversial Aug. 19 editorial gained international attention for its skepticism about the American war effort: "To believe that Americans, with an occupying force that long ago outlived its reluctant welcome, can win over a recalcitrant local population and win this counterinsurgency is far-fetched." "

Rush L along with a lot of other warmongering idiots should be forced to spend 6 months living as an ordinary Iraqi citizen (or in Afghanistan, Vietnam, etc) so they can find out what it's like to be on the receiving end of Pax Americana.

Politically smearing Rush is a magicians trick. The democrats need a distraction from they're ill conceived "betray us" ad that George Soros and move on . org, orchestrated. That ad was a true traitorous act.
That bad ad definately showed the hatred of the left for the american military and its troops.

I believe that he called them phonies not traitors and that was a specific reference to those that are making comments about what was done in Iraq without having actually been there.

There is absolutely no use in an apology that is neither meant nro even really necessary. Rush Limbaugh has the freedom to soew whatever hot air he chooses to spew.

Spock nailed it. Democrats cannot get their own members of Congress to do anything right, so they poke at right wing pundits and evangelical Christians.
Pretty amusing from here.

im a proud lefty "loon" and i listened to the entire show that day before the hype and he did say exactly what critics of his are saying that he said. He clearly stated that anyone that is brought to the light as against the war is a phony soldier. then later spoke of one in particular. He is a fat drug abuser, but if thats who you look up to, maybe you should think of apoligizing to your family.
