The best material is cotton, it doesn't usually rip and you can wear it for more than a couple of days without it smelling. It doesn't matter if it's push up or regular, cotton's great.

Sounds like you need to take better care of your bras, and make sure you are wearing the correct size. Using the washer & dryer on a bra will kill it very quickly. You should only hand wash & line dry them. Also, if it's to small on you, it will stretch out and break a lot sooner than it should.
If your doing your shopping at VS, then ask them for a fitting. You can also get a fitting at most up-scale department stores.

Material in Push up or regular doesn't make a difference, it's all about the way you want it to fit. It's all about the right size and the kind of material that you feel comfortable with. I think that Spandex is the most resistant. If this can help for sizing you need your bra to feel comfortable around your rib cage ( not too tight/ that's the digit 32,34,36..) and covering at least half of your boobs(that's the letter for cup size A,B,C..).

I have never found the bras at VS particularly high quality just high fashion. Try Maidenform, Bali or Fredrick's for high quality beautiful bras that will last more than a few days. Good Luck!

Victoria's secret bras suck in general! i prefer Hanes Her Way or Jockey. Also, Playtex and Bali have great bras.
I'm a 38DD so I'd have to say regular underwire bras are best. If you don't want your nipples showing, a padded bra is best. My favorite type of bra is the T-shirt bra.

I would take it back..but 15$ for a VS bra is not a lot at all. I like underwire and slightly padded. VS has nice ones for like 30$ but I forget what they're called.
