Whilst having a baby is one of the most special things in the world other than meeting either your princess or prince, I find that a lot of people do it for the wrong reasons. Perhaps they're not getting on so well and think that by having a baby everything will be alright, it won't usually just causes more stress!! For all of you wonderful people out there that are having babies though, good luck!!
Thanks

I would be more inclined to think the opposite also; babies are 24/7, lots of screaming, crying, diapers, noise, feeding and time/attention. Not the answer to being closer together since your time alone is non existent practically. Unless the relationship is really secure in the first place, having a baby to bring people closer together just never works.

Afraid for me it wasn't true a lot of men want your attention only and want you to make their dinner and tend to their needs. When a little one comes along nature says mum has to concentrate on bringing up baby, with some help from partner or spouse but this particular type of man don't like that and often you will find them looking elsewhere.
I don't say this is all men but my ex was like this and so was my friends ex as soon as the babies came along they weren't happy. In both cases the babies were planned. You will find they look for a women who either doesn't want a family or who has a grown up family that can look after themselves so they can once again get all the attention.

Well that's the most untruthful saying ever! If you got problems then the last thing to do is to have a child together. It's not fair on the child, if there's strain in the relationship then the child is going to feel it too. And has having a child is so difficult then it's unlikely that it will work. I think you have to be in a strong, trusting relationship before even considering having a child.

I've know someone have a child just to 'keep' their man, and it's not worked, having a child is hard work in loads of way's, and if your having problems having a child wont bring you closer. But if you've a great relatioship, then yes having a child can bring you closer.

I'm guessing your bf said that. Only so he can have sex with you, and you fell for it. That is the quickest way to lose your bf. He will tell you how he wants an child with you and you could be his baby's momma. He will never say he will marry you. Trust me, the second you say you are pregnant with a child he will run for the hills. He will call you a **** and say that you slept around with the whole town. He will drop you like a hot patato. You will be on your own without any help from him. He will fight you for the child support so he doen't have to give you anything. Drop this jerk and move on. You are too young and immature to have a baby. Children should not have children. Look around at all the single moms raising children with their mother's help, where are all the fathers ?? Smarten up. P.S. It is only often said by men who want to have sex with immature women and they fall for it every time. Good Luck.

Sadly, I did. My wife and I split up when Emily was just two years and two months old.
