Assuming you are in the UK, Summer's only just ended. Give it chance! =P
Not sure about a white Christmas, but there is certainly plenty of snow in Winter (though not all the time - thank God!)

Probably not. I live in Suffolk and don't remember one.
The sciency bit - well, we're heading towards a warm time in the Earth's history, not beacuse of global warming, but because of the cycles of ice ages and warm periods. So I guess the chances of having a white christmas are slim unless we have a really bitter winter.
I would <3 a white christmas though! :)

It has already snowed in Scotland a few days ago so there is every possibility of a white Christmas, but you don't say where you live so it is not possible to be too certain.

You would probably have to go to the arctic to get a white Christmas. It seems that is the only place that has snow year round.

it has snowed in central scotland on xmas day for a few years (not 06 though) bit not the proper 'snowed in' stuff. I want that!! Tend to find though her we don't get good snow till about end feb or march.
11 weeks on Monday - you'd better start your snow dance now!!!

We had a white Boxing Day in West Sussex about 5 years ago. We've probably more chance of a white Easter these days, lol.

Hope not. Down here where I live you get snow and ice. It causes all kinds of major malfunctions. People have absolutely no idea how to handle it. Power companies not set up to deal with. Highway departments have no idea what to do..
