Because they were still trying to figure out how they stopped "The Coming Ice Age" that was the Liberal Socialist battle cry in the 70`s. Since according to liberals we now are faced with Gorebal Warming at a record pace , all the liberals have to do is to stop what they did in the 70`s to stop " The Coming Ice Age " ? It`s amazing what liberals` can do ! In a 35 year period they have stopped " The Coming Ice Age " , and now have the know how to stop Gorebal Warming !! Why won`t "algore" publicly debate his claims . See , What this all amounts to is that when all the hippie liberals` were kids , their mom read them the fairy tale about "Chicken Little", and all they can remember from the story is "The Sky is Falling " ; The Sky is Falling "...

Because Gore is a liar the same as Clinton, he's just worse at it. He's not the deceiver Clinton is, but Bill seemed to think the ridiculous idea of Global Warming would help to better entrap more citizens, for Al Gore's future, when he would run for president, after Clinton's terms were over. It was all a plot, to control the minds of Americans for the Liberal ticket, trying to make Libs believe that only Al Gore could fix it (even though there is no proof it exsists). Thank God for Republicans, Conservatives, and Liberals who had brains (although in the few), that knew better.
Well, at least Gore got to make a few millions on the book he wrote, no matter what an idiot he is. That would include the majority of Libs who bought it, and believe in Global Warming.

Because all the hot air produced by the Clinton's trying to get BACK into office, is what caused global warming.

I will pretend this is not just another blame-it-on-Bill-Clinton question, and I'll give you an honest answer.
Scientists just started to reach a consensus on global warming in the mid 90's. It was on Gore's to do list for when he became president.
Dramatic changes are evident in just the last few years. A core of antarctic ice revealed average temperature data going back many millennia. It proved the earth's temp was increasing.. Glaciers are melting at an unheard of rate, and the frequency of severe hurricanes is way off the charts.
The real question is why did Bush and the Republicans promote denial all these years, especially as the evidence mounted and signs of climate change became obvious.

Much like the internet, Al Gore hadn't invented it yet. lol
Well you didn't hear too much about all the nuclear help that we gave North Korea in terms of money, equipment and technology when Jimmy Carter was President either. Now that he knows everything, I wonder if he remembers he did that.

Answer: As a matter of FACT...as VP, Al Gore made a public proclamation that neither he nor the administration could sign the KYOTO agreement as it was biased against developed nations in favor of the aspiring third world.
Is it possible that he lost his sanity and reason along with the 2000 election...
Seems like a reasonable theory.

I founds this interesting and since I was alive during this time I find the "global warming" rather funny.

Yea that's kind of funny. I knew about it in 1969-70 when I had an in depth discussion with my science teacher.
