"Taps" After losing so many friends in the war it brings immediate tears to my eyes and sadness to my heart. It's even sadder because it used to be a song of pride you would hear at the close of the day. Now the meaning is death. The old Army bugler playing "Taps" as a solo. Have to go grab some tissue..........sniffle.......sniffle....

Last Dance by Donna Summer

Do NOT play that song around me. For some reason it always brings tears to my eyes. I wasn't even alive in the '70s so I don't know why it does that to me.

"Wind Beneath My Wings." I was given an award once, the reasons don't matter, but I dedicated it to my parents. A soloist sang that song at the ceremony and ever since I think of them when I hear it. That they are both gone now makes it even more poignant.

Who you'd be today~Kenny Chesney. Because my best friends daughter died at the age of 9 from brain cancer, and that song describes what someone that dies young would be like later in life. I can't even listen to the whole song, it makes me cry like a baby!!!

She was an awesome little girl and she died too young!
RIP Sammy Jo

"Go Rest High On That Mountain", by Vince Gill. Thankfully I don't listen to country. They played it at my Grandfather's funeral.
