There is a reason we are called BELIEVERS. Because we actually BELIEVE in God, and we BELIEVE Him to be the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. If I said "I could be wrong." Then, I wouldn't be who I claim to be, and that is a BELIEVER. What is so hard to understand about that? Another thing atheists don't understand is we aren't here on this earth to win their respect. Why would I care if a Godless person respected me or not? I live for God. Not for people who don't believe in Him. We don't acknowledge that the possiblity exist that we may be wrong, because WE DON'T BELIEVE IT CAN BE WRONG. We are GROUNDED IN OUR FAITH. WE STAND FIRM IN OUR FAITH. AND WE BELIEVE WHAT WE BELIEVE. THAT MAKES US WHO WE ARE. If we didn't. We would be someone else. Why doesn't that make sense to you? I would say that if an atheist says they are not 100% sure that God does not exist, they are not TRULY an atheist, then, are they? Think about it. I thought atheists were sure there is no God, that is why they are atheists. You are contradictory.

Well, the problem is that I read the transcript shortly after his program aired, so I saw the context in which he said 'phony soldiers'. He said it, repeating his current caller's words and as a generalization in reference to his previous caller (Mike) and others that did not agree with Rush's view of the war. Therefore, the answer is an emphatic NO.

Where's the mistake? Rush insulted a member of the military, who has fought for his country and has the medals and scars to prove it. He's on record as having made these remarks, Rush Limbaugh has never served; what does this make Rush Limbaugh? If Limbaugh does not know enough about something, he needs to shut up!! Even George W. Bush is keeping him at arm's length, for once. I have never understood people who take Rush Limbaugh seriously and I never will, You Dittoheads need therapy.

Nope. Once again, in Rush Limbaugh's Sept 26th broadcast, he and a person who is known in the transcript's only as "Caller #2" were discussing the Aug 16th publication of an Op-Ed piece, written by US Army Rangers currently serving tours in Baghdad. The piece was published by the NY Times, and is clearly active duty soldiers who support withdrawing US Troops from Iraq.

These are the individuals Rush Limbaugh and his caller referred to as "phony soldiers" (plural form, not singular, as you and the rest of the rightwing try to spin it).

Two days after their letter was published, two of those so-called "Phony soldiers" were killed in action in Baghdad.

It doesn't have to do with right or wrong, this is still America despite Bush's best efforts, and Limbaugh is free to say whatever he wants to about whomever he wants to. What I personally object to is a "man" who calls actual soldiers "phony" because he doesn't agree with their opinions, even though when his country called HIM up to defend it in Vietnam, he refused, begging for and receiving a deferrment for an "Anal Cyst". This shameless, blatant hypocracy is what offends me the most.

John Kerry makes a joke about some Americans (he never said troops are dumb, Republicans believe that's the case (which is why they won't serve), and is crucified for it. Limbaugh calls ACTUAL soldiers fighting and dying in Baghdad "phony" and the right wing jumps up to defend his vile lies.

Do you knida understand why the rest of world looks at you with such suspicion? It's obvious those who defend Rush's remarks do not support the troops, only the ones who agree with them, which doesn't make them patriots, it makes them partisan hacks who not only don't know why America is so fed up with right wing Hate Politics, but couldn't care less.

Rush may have been "right" about that one particular person. He has however repeatedly taken shots at real veterans. I do not believe that he was taken otu of context and I do not believe he meant just one person when he made the phony soldier comments. One phony sldier does not discredit the real soldiers who have stood against war and I would like to know how Rush Limbaugh was able to investigate the veracity of any particular "soldier". Military records are not public records and should not be shared with anyone wishing to gather information about any one person.

Just after the neo-cons apologize for the despicable way they treated John Kerry (or John McCain, for that matter).

It appears Republicans only support members of the military who agree with them.

Besides, there's nothing to apologize for. If Limbaughs' mouth was moving, he was lying.

This has nothing to do with serious politics, just, shrill voices on both sides and it slanders the greatness of America.

When did anyone ever hear a lib say they are wrong? Their pride and blinded eyes/mind just won't allow it to ever happen.

The very second the cons are through admitting that theSwift Boaters were wrong the libs will admit being wrong about the phony solider flap.

So when do we get your apology?
