I add pepper to lots of things. I rarely add salt but I love pepper. Most foods I cook, I add pepper too but there are a few foods that I cook that if I don't add pepper to, I just won't eat it (fried eggs, hamburgers, green beans, and gravy).

I use a variety of peppers: ground black, Cayenne, crushed red, chipotle, lemon. It depends on what I am cooking. I hardly ever use it at the table though, except fresh peppercorn from a grinder on salads.

White pepper to Alfredo sauce
black pepper to steak and baked potatoes (and oh so much more)
jalapeno peppers to salsa, guacamole and enchiladas (and oh so much more!)
