There was a king, who came to know about a Yogi, who knew the technique of living for ever. The king sends his son to the yogi to find out the technique for the aging King. but the son came back without learning the skill, albeit he met the yogi, and talked to him, who also was willing to give him the technical know how. Naturally the king was disappointed. And then the soon explained certain things to the king, and asked him whether the still wanted him to learn that.
Undoubtedly the Yogi was living and had become immortal, but he could not stop the age going on. He continued aging, and aging, and aging, but had become 'incapable' of dieing.
The King sighed, and said thank you to his son.
Who shall live till 3000? Even if you can arrest your physical aging, you shall be mentally aging to philosophical resignations. If you stop metal aging too, then why should you live at all?

Nope! According to the Mayan Calender, the world as we know it, will come to an end on December 21, 2112. All of the planets in the galaxy will more or less align, the poles will switch from North to South, to South to North, the tectonic plates will shift, and so will life as we know it. If that doesn't happen, I will either fall victim to Diabetes, Heart failure, Cancer, or extreme old aga before we even get close. We aren't even preparing for the great magnetic shift, how could I expect anyone to fix all of the things that genetics is planning to do to me!

no way! if even i managed to reach the year 3000, i don't think it would be great to live then - pollution destroying earth, global warming and so on... what is more, i would be very very very old. it doesn't attract me at all :D

how previous are you at the instant? cutting-part scientific science could o.k. advance the effort-loose man or woman's lifespan heavily (nonetheless not indefinitely) to the factor which you may stay to work out a technological singularity the place human minds could nicely be transferred to a extra everlasting digital medium.

nope.
I heard they were working on something that should be able to make you, like not getting Any older (don't think it's healthy though)
but I probably won't live to see it being sold at the supermarket.
and the world would probably be rotten away by then....or much more beautiful than now, if they've found some answers to problems..

Some of my ideas, or things I accomoplish in my life may live a thousand years, but my body most likely won't last that long. So, no.
