There is such a think as Folk punk and Christian punk.
And they are not oxymorons!

well, those are pop punk bands you mentioned, so I can't really recommend anything you would like. But in case you feel like listening to real punk, you might try the following bands/albums: 1. Minor Threat/Out of Step 2. 7 Seconds/The Crew 3. Adolescents/Adolescents 4. Bad Brains/Rock for Light 5. Black Flag/Damaged 6. Descendents/I don't want to grow up 7. T.S.O.L./Dance with Me 8. Bad Religion/Suffer To name a few (there are way too many to include here)

if you mean folk-punk as in celtic-punk, i'd say Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys. great stuff!!!
