Where I live at age 16 you can go to the department of human services and get the pill. If you want it to regulate your period (and it does NOT make your boobs grow) talk with your parents. I am strongly encouraging my niece who is soon to be 14 to go on the pill to help with her menstrual cramping and regulate her period, she however is scared if she goes on it ppl will think she's having sex which she's not.

If your living in the U.K. (I don't know where your from) you can go on your own and your parents don't need to know. The good thing is that the pill is free as well.
I can only speak from my own experience but my boobs have gone up about one and a half cup sizes.
I went on it when I was 19 to regulate my periods and it was the best thing I ever did, although alot of girls find that by the age of 16 or 17 things naturally settle down. Its not always the answer.
There are natural alternatives like vitamin B6 supplements and evening primrose oil.

Forget the making your boobs grow bit, this is an uncommon side effect rather than a likely outcome. If you are having period problems then your GP might well feel it is reasonable to use the pill. The situation is technically slightly different here in Scotland than in England. Here the consent laws are different anyway and anyone felt by their GP to be capable of giving consent can give consent, and there is no absolute age ( this excludes consenting to intercourse.) In England the age of consent is rigidly 16 years. Your GP however would not normally consider contacting your parents, unless he felt your health was at risk in some way.

Most birth control pills don't make breasts grow anymore like the earlier birth control pills. But as to your question. . . Most states will keep in confidential but their are a few that require that parents be notified if the person is under 18 years old. I think that if you told your mom or dad that you wanted to regulate your period by taking birth control that they'd be ok with that although you might get "The Talk" again lol. Good Luck

you can go on your own at 14 but it's not suitable for everyone and it's better to chat to your gp with your mum there so you really understand the dangers..the pill causes more problems than it solves. your boobs keep growing until your are 25 and your periods will regulate themself. if you mess with it now you may have problems all your life. please visit your gp or practise nurse. be wary of any other kind of advice on here about this...some adults will not respect you because you are so young. There are predators on this site.

I think you have to be 16 to go on your own. I don't think they will put you on the pill, as it does take a few years for your periods to sort itself out. Plus you have plenty of time for your boobs to grow.

No, it won't make your boobs grow. They will in their own time...don't be in such a hurry....if it about regulating your periods then talk to your mum about it. Legal age would be 16 I presume.
